Prioritize Postural Fitness….

Posture and BalanceA balanced and fully-functional musculoskeletal system is essential to vibrant health. When the “S-Curve” of the spine is compromised, each and every one of the body’s systems is compromised.

Instructor Karen Jorgensen is a 13-year veteran of The Egoscue Method.  She teaches specific movements and positions that deeply stimulate key posture and gate muscles from the inside out, turning back the hands of time.  In this class, you will focus on stabilizing the pelvis and re-creating the spine’s “S” Curve.

Instructor Karen Jorgensen is an Advanced Posture Alignment and Restoration Specialist.  Her work is based on The Egoscue Method of Health Through Motion. In her private practice, she uses this extraordinary corrective exercise methodology to treat chronic pain at its source.

In her general classes, she teaches specific movement patterns and positions that deliberately stimulate key posture and gait muscles from the inside out, turning back the hands of time and improving student’s ability to continue to do the things they love to do.

Using her experience in a variety of techniques, Karen blends posture work with fun bits of Yoga, Pilates, Stretching, Strengthening and Balance to create an effective class that suits the general population.

WHO CAN BENEFIT:

We work in every position – standing, sitting, lying on stomach/back, kneeling, hands and knees.

Wednesday mornings 8:30 – 9:30

Friday mornings, 8:00-9:00

CLASSROOM ENTRANCE IN PARKING LOT – REAR CORNER

MISCELLANEOUS: Wear loose, comfortable clothing. Bring a yoga mat if you have one. If you do not, one will be provided for you. Classes are done in bare feet.
