Welcome to the Caritas home page! Summer is here and we have a lot of new happenings at the center! Astrological consulting, massage therapy, sports massage, acupuncture, Reiki and relational counseling are being offered by our highly trained professionals (Nanie, Eric, JoAnne, Kathleen, and Karen) throughout the summer. We have a new opening at the center for another practitioner in a treatment room that is already furnished and decorated and features a massage table. If you are looking to start a practice of your healing art and would like to do so in a supportive community setting, please contact Karen. For more information, click here:

In addition to the usual services provided by a broad array of healing practitioners, we have some new classes/presentations–many of which are free or accepting donations. Jeremy Werner, L.Ac. will be building on his recent introductory talks on the Mayan Calendar by offering a 3-hour workshop. This will take you beyond the basics and teach you how to incorporate evolutionary intention and sacred ceremony into your daily life. This will allow you to align with and benefit from the wisdom of the Mayan Calendar, to dance in the flow of the Divine Plan. Workshop participants will explore the 13 Galactic Tones and the 20 Sun Signs of the Tzolkin, or Sacred Count of Days.
This workshop intends to inspire creativity and to teach a new paradigm of reality based on the teachings of Don Alejandro Oxlaj and the work of Dr. Carl J. Calleman. Jeremy’s workshop will include meditation, movement, visioning and a focus on greater unity consciousness.

Jeremy Werner, L.Ac. will be bringing his introductory talk on the Mayan Calendar to Caritas once again. His presentation in August was so well received, we’ve decided to do it again. In his presentation, you’ll learn more about the Mayan Calendar and how to align with it. He will discuss the evolution of consciousness from the very beginning of time until the end of the Mayan Long Count on October 28, 2011.
